The Cause The Mental Health Association provides 833 units of safe and affordable housing, along with access to support groups, advocacy, treatment, legal counseling and other community supports. Over the years, they have learned from the success of our tenants that the solution to homelessness is simple and effective: A place to call home and a community of people who believe in their ability to recover with treatment, peer support and social inclusion. Using this model, we are working to eliminate and prevent homelessness of people with mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders throughout Tulsa County. The mission: The Mental Health Association in Tulsa envisions new ways to promote mental health and support those affected by mental illness in the Tulsa community. Their current programs include housing for approximately 1,136 individuals and families, many of whom are affected by mental illness. We also offer six support groups and peer support programs to provide socialization opportunities for those affected by mental illness. They provide ongoing educational opportunities to the Tulsa community on mental health, and advocate on behalf of those they serve. We also designed two lectern covers to facilitate guest speakers and bring an elegant look to the stage in line with the dramatic sweeping fabric backdrop. The results are a refreshingly bold corporate look, that left attendees with a lasting impression.
